I am a chartered architect with over two decades of experience having worked in large practices to small conservation architects on a number of high profile schemes across the country prior to setting up PAAD in October 2010. My passion is a belief in sustainable ethical design (I was a member of the Ecological Design Association in 1991) and I strongly believe in giving something back to my community. To this extent I am a mentor with the Stephen Lawrence Foundation, and am also an enabler with Glass House.
Nigel Kitchener BEng MSc BA Arch – Director
I have amassed a wide breadth of knowledge and experience in architectural and engineering projects. I draw on this throughout the design process to achieve sustainable architecture that does not require compromise when being brought into reality.
I am currently in the process of building my own family home and am aiming to achieve the highest level of the code for sustainable homes ratings. This is a zero carbon house that also has increased the ecological value of the land whilst using environmentally sound methods and materials for construction.
